BioCrime is everywhere, even in small-town Massachusetts. This? Should prove to be interesting.
Casey Novak grew up in New York City and worked as an assistant district attorney for White Collar Crimes fresh out of law school. After a couple of years in that department, she was transferred to the Manhattan Special Victims Unit, where she prosecuted sex crimes, crimes against children, and crimes against the elderly.
The cases started taking an emotional toll on her, and when she was offered a promotion to district attorney in Towers Town, she jumped at the chance. Sure, it wasn't going to be New York, but it would mean more responsibility and the opportunity to bring justice to the victims of crimes that happened elsewhere.
